Point layers

The layer is based on HERE data and the Canada Post file. Coverage includes the ten (10) Provinces and three (3) Territories of Canada. Note:This layer is only available in North America releases. |
City Center POIs (CityPOI) | The City Center POI (CityPOI File Geodatabase Feature Class) point layer contains the names of cities. The location is usually a midpoint of administrative areas, zones, hamlets and neighbourhoods. |
Distance Markers (DistanceMarkers) | The Distance Markers (DistanceMarkers File Geodatabase Feature Class) point layer contains distance markers. Distance Markers is data which models distance markers, like mile-markers or hectometer markers, along the motorway. Distance Markers are sequentially numbered markers placed along roads at regular intervals that serve as a reference location on a motorway. |

Network System Junctions (Routing_ND_Junctions) | The Network System Junctions (Routing__ND_Junctions File Geodatabase Feature Class) point layer represents points that connect edges of the network dataset and facilitate navigation from one edge to another. |
Override Points (Routing_Streets_Override) | The Override Points (Routing_Streets_Override File Geodatabase Feature Class) point layer represents connection points indicating where connectivity occurs mid-span along the merged line features of the dissolved network dataset, Routing_ND. |
USA ZIP5 Points (USAZIP5Points) | The USA ZIP5 Points (USAZIP5Points File Geodatabase Feature Class) reference layer represents delivery-based centroids for the five-digit ZIP Code areas of the United States. The layer is based on HERE data and the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) source files. Coverage includes all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This dataset includes all navigable links, with their attribution relevant for route calculation and route guidance. In addition, this road network includes Transport trucking restrictions and preferred routes, as well as historical traffic data. This dataset is licensed and requires a license file for access. |

The first two digits identify the state or part of same. The postal code polygons are assigned to different types of settlements as the "colonias" (Boundaries). Colonia is the smallest administrative area that exists in Mexico. Note:This layer is only available in North America releases. |

Signposts Streets (Signposts_Streets) | The Signposts Streets (Signposts_Streets File Geodatabase Table) table defines the Links involved in Signposts. Each SignPost is defined by a combination of two edges. Therefore one Signposts entry is defined by two entries in Signposts Streets layer: one for the From Edge and one for the To Edge. The From Edge ID and To Edge ID involved in the SignPost can be disconnected. |

Streets TMC (Streets_TMC) | The Streets TMC (Streets_TMC File Geodatabase Table) table represents Navigable Links (road networks). The TMC (Traffic Message Channel) coding is a mechanism to connect TMC-based dynamic traffic information to the HERE maps. The TMC codes represent pre-defined code available in so-called Location Tables. These TMC codes enable cross-referencing between TMC-based traffic messages and HERE map features. |
Time Zones (TimeZones) | The Time Zones (TimeZones File Geodatabase Table) table represents time zones. |
Z-level Information (ZLevelCrossing) | The Z-level (ZLevelCrossing File Geodatabase Table) table contains Z-level information for coordinate pairs to model a relative stacking order when navigable links are crossing other navigable links, or specific cartographic features (e.g. railroads, water). The Z-level information can be used to render the road network correctly when it crosses other map features (e.g., this link should be drawn on top of that link). |
