description: Comparison between the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) dated Spring 2000 (rev2004) and the DEM from April 2010. Generally this shows potential cut & fill areas. Important note: The 2000 DEM was *NOT* created from LiDAR (a less accurate stereo method was used) and this is especially true in the rural areas where far fewer 3D points were generated. The 2010 DEM was created from a countywide LIDAR flight having nominal horizontal point spacing of 5 feet. Refer to metadata from these projects for more information on each.
